Hills Quarry Products strengthens fleet with MAN truck
Hills Quarry Products has strengthened its Large Goods Vehicles fleet with the addition of a powerful and fuel-efficient MAN truck TGX D38.
The new vehicle joins Hills’ 20-strong fleet and will play a vital role in supplying aggregates to the company’s eight ready-mixed concrete plants, as well as delivering materials to customers across the South West.

The decision followed a successful trial of a MAN demonstrator vehicle, which received excellent feedback from drivers. Performance, fuel efficiency, overall value and a comprehensive maintenance package all contributed to the purchase.
Powered by MAN’s latest generation 12.4 litre, Euro VI D38SCR engine, the new TGX delivers an impressive 540 hp (316 kW). It is paired with a smooth 12-speed MAN TipMatic® automated gearbox, featuring advanced efficiency and off-road software, ideal for the varied terrains encountered across the region.
