Hills Quarry Products has made infrastructure improvements at its Mortimer and Woodsford quarries to improve production levels.
Both sites are now reaping the rewards of these works, with our standard core products being more readily available for delivery and collection:
- 0-4mm sand: a coarse, sharp sand, ideal for a range of building uses, typically used for block paving, and coarse concreting for construction projects.
- 10 and 20mm gravel:Â a versatile and aesthetically pleasing option for both functional and decorative uses, commonly used for driveways, pathways, and decorative borders.
- Ballast: a durable, dense material resistant to weather and scuffing, well-suited to road surfacing, pavement construction, drainage, and railway ballast.
- 40mm gravel: a versatile option for functional uses, such as land drainage systems, type B media filter, and rejects.
